ST 2110, redefined.
Turnkey by design.

A complete AV routing system — media servers, switches, converters, PTP grandmaster, and control software — configured for your venue and supported by the team that built it.

A complete system.
From $25,000.

A traditional small ST 2110 system — switch, control software, NMOS controller, PTP grandmaster, integration — typically runs $90K–$230K. A Transmission system, hardware and software bundled, starts at $25,000.

Three things,
done well.

The Transmission control plane is built around three surfaces — device discovery, signal routing, real-time monitoring. Each lives on a single web page, mobile-responsive, push-updated over WebSocket. No CLI. No proprietary terminals.

Discover

NMOS IS-04 over a hosted registry. Devices appear the moment they register — IP, MAC, switch port, video format, multicast group, PTP lock, all mapped automatically.

Route

One click. IS-05 stage and activate, MDB verification, take history. Confirm-before-take by default. Salvos for synchronized multi-route execution.

Monitor

Sub-second port stats. Bandwidth, drop counts, FCS errors, SFP optical power. PTP consistency and switch invariants swept continuously, pushed over WebSocket.

Commodity 100GbE.
Broadcast-grade routing.

Built around the MikroTik CRS520-4XS-16XQ (16× QSFP28 100G + 4× SFP28 25G) and the Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini family. RouterOS 7.x is configured automatically — bridge, IGMP snooping, flow control, MTU 9000, port speeds, breakout — through the app. No CLI.

The playout system,
on the same matrix.

Constellation is our TouchDesigner-based playout software for multi-machine media servers — artworks, playlists, canvases and output mapping across a render cluster. Transmission integrates with it directly: a Constellation output becomes a routable sender the moment a route uses it, and any sender on the fabric can be routed back in as a Constellation source. Program audio follows the picture.

Transmission is built on AMWA NMOS IS-04 (discovery) and IS-05 (connection management) over a PTP IEEE-1588v2 timing domain. SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy is supported on dual-fabric builds. Multicast routing uses IGMP snooping with multicast querier on the bridge.

Built by Tridant.

Tridant is an independent creative-technology firm — three co-founders, not an agency network. It builds and runs its own systems, and delivers turnkey design, deployment, and day-two operations for projection mapping, video walls, media servers, and interactive exhibits at venues, museums, and live events. Transmission is one of those systems. The people who answer your support call are the people who wrote it.

Earlier work runs through Obscura Digital — the studio behind architectural-scale projection at the Vatican and the exterior of the MSG Sphere — and Downstream, whose experience environments anchor major sports venues and tech flagships, for Apple, Google, Tesla, Netflix, NASA JPL, and MLB. Transmission applies that work to ST 2110 routing.
